Don't Live in Fear of Falling, Fall into Balance - Angier
This is a program aimed at reducing the fear of falling and increasing activity levels among older adults.
This program is ideal for older adults who:
- Are concerned about falls
- Have experienced falls in the past
- Limit activities due to concerns about falling
- Are interested in improving flexibility, balance, and strength
- Are 60 or older, live independently, and are able to problem-solve
Program Details: Classes are offered in person and consist of 8 two-hour sessions led by two trained facilitators. Classes will take place on Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., running from September 18 through November 6. Each class is designed for a small group of 8–12 participants to ensure a supportive and engaging environment.
